Today, I had the honor of photographing Venice High’s beautiful cheer leading captains….These are my favorites so far…..

This post is long overdue….seems to be the trend lately    This was a recent mentoring session with a fellow photographer (who is now a dear friend).  Our gorgeous model did a fabulous job despite the freaky location I chose.  More to come soon…

Ya know….the old cliche, life’s a bowl a cherries…well, I will tell myself that today….over and over.  Once dear Addy wakes from her nap, we will take Gage to the ER as I am quite sure he fractured his foot. Add that to the list of other orthopaedic issues we have all been having lately and we just have to laugh!  So, I will end this post on another cliche…when it rains, it pours……

Perhaps its that look of pure joy on her face when in pursuit of the puppy, or the smell of her hair after a roll in the grass….there is just something about her at this stage of her life that has me in knots….the good kind. I look at her at my heart swells in my chest…it does, I feel it quicken when she blurts out  new word…..which seems to be every day! Her favorite song as of late, 3 little birds….. “this is my message to ooh-ooh-ooh” …. I could just eat her up.

 This week….she only has eyes for daddy, and that fist full of weeds flowers, is for her 1 and only.  I was just lucky enough to have the privilege of catching a few snap shots.
