Finally. The tree is up, the house is decorated and the stockings are hung. In years past, we have had everything up by Thanksgiving. Over the last few years, the trips up and down the attic have become pretty tiresome, and the number of boxes of decorations have diminished quite drastically. I think my nickname used to be Martha (as in Stewart), but lately it has been Grinch! Well, bahumbug no more I say! I love how warm and cozy our home feels with Christmas all around us. There truly is nothing sweeter.

Mr.Perfection
This is baby “F” and his fabulous family. At 12 days new he is full of personality and knows what he wants! I always tell my moms that the newborn is in charge of the session and this little fella was indeed…but, once he got his belly full and snuggles from mom and dad, he slept like a dream. With the help of my handy dandy heater of course
Thanks guys for a wonderful afternoon, you were awesome and made this whole session so enjoyable! And thank you to my dear friend Heather for being a wonderful assistant…my back thanks you as well
Another Birthday
Over night it seems my little boy turned into a pre-teen. He is now 12 growing on 21 and I’m pretty sure I have the gray hairs to prove it! I think the highlight of Gage’s birthday this year was going to Tallahassee with Jim to watch Florida play, despite the 7 hour drive home on Sunday. With all these birthdays so close to Christmas the poor kids are getting a little short changed in the party and gift department. Even with pictures, as I tried to lump Christmas and a Birthday session into one. Yeah, fun. As a matter of fact, I told my Husband to not worry about my birthday next week…really, we can just skip it and pretend it never happened. How about we do that every year from here on out and I will just stay 32 forever
SO here is my sweet boy, all grown up and a few sneak peeks from our attempt at Christmas pictures.
Guess Who’s Two?
Beware: The following images are of extreme snap shot quality. I cease to be a photographer on most Birthdays, some school events and Christmas…
I cannot believe 2 years have passed since Addison came into this world. It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating her first year. I think the down side to having 3 kids is that I am so burnt out on birthday parties that I have become a little lazy in the planning department. But that’s where Jim comes in. He stayed up all night baking this cake for her. Isn’t he the greatest dad? So even tho her “real” party is tomorrow, here is how Thursday night went down:
Enter birthday cake…..
…..and bring on the tantrums please because it just would not be a celebration of the terrible twos without tears and screams of terror.
This is actually quite normal. You see, this is a glimpse into dinner time at the Williams household. But that’s ok….a little “Happy Birthday” song accompanied by Jesse’s stellar guitar playing and she should snap out of it…….
Nope…still screaming. Ok, how about your very own slice? With extra sprinkles, poured on by daddy with love….that will make baby girl happy, right?
Nope. Hmmmm, you don’ t want that either. Hence the red face and the screams that are causing our ears to bleed. Jesse is still strumming quietly in the background and the combination of soothing music and screeching toddler is quite interesting. Ok then, how about the whole cake all to yourself?
Ahhhh……Yep. A typical day in the life of our Addy cakes! All kidding aside, she is our heart and soul, the love of our life the center of our universe. Watching her change day after day has been so amazing. She is so full life and personality and usually has us in tears from laughter. She has every single one of us wrapped around her little finger…and she knows is too!
Little Red
This was obviously not her first Halloween…but it sure felt like it was. So its the first one were she “got it”…..the whole knock-on-the-door hold-out-your-bucket routine. She was so polite…unlike the old pros who just yell trick-or-treat grab the loot and run. It was a first for the boys as well…a little bitter sweet for me. Of course they don’t need mom and dad around now…just their mob of friends will do… *sigh*
